Introducing the passionate and dedicated team at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Peru, Illinois. Led by Pastor Tom Redig, our staff is committed to serving the community with love and compassion. We offer worship services on Saturdays at 5:30 pm and Sundays at 10:15 am, with Sunday School at 9:00 am.

Eloide joined St. John’s staff in April 1994 and enjoys the variety of responsibilities that come with the position. Whether answering the phone, greeting visitors or creating newsletters, she feel that the best part of the job is developing relationships with our members.
Her hours are 8:00-noon and 1-2:30 Monday thru Friday.

Audio-Video Technician
I started as the Audio-Video Technician when COVID shut down our church. I enjoy being able to offer our members and those in the community another way to worship. Our Saturday evening service is live-streamed on our YouTube channel - St. John's Lutheran Church, Peru.
Pam Engels
Accompianist
I’ve been an organist/pianist and choir accompanist at St. John’s church since 1990. I worked at LP High School as the choral accompanist for 27 years and retired in May 2024. I teach private piano lessons. I live in Peru with my husband, Rich. We have a daughter and son and one granddaughter.

I have been a member of St. John’s since 1993, with the 10-year break for a few job changes. My husband Dave and I raised our four kids here and they were all confirmed here at St. John’s. I have been a member of the choir ever since we joined, and I love the people who share my passion in making a joyful noise to the Lord.
Bridget Wilmot
Accompianist
Born and raised in Peru. Current piano accompanist for Peru public schools, LaSalle public schools, St. Bede, St John’s, and Grace Church in LaSalle.
I teach private piano lessons in my home for over 30 years now. I am also a licensed Cosmologist at On the Six Salon in Peru.
I have been married to my husband Dan for 34 years and we have two children. Kelsey and DJ. Kelsey is a Paralegal and DJ is a Paramedic. We also have two grandchildren, Brayden 6, and Marlee 2.
In what little spare time I find, I enjoy thrift shopping, being with the grandkids, and playing piano.
