Choir (adult)

St. John’s Adult Choir meets every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. from September through May, and we sing almost every Sunday morning during that time.
We sing a wide variety of music, ranging from classical to contemporary praise songs.
Most of the music we sing is done in four-part harmony, but with a wide range of difficulty. Our members range from professional musicians to people who just want to make a joyful noise to their Lord. All are welcome.
The highlight of our year is our Advent cantata, which is usually performed during the middle of December.

St. John’s Choir gave an outstanding performance at the Choir Expo on Sunday, February 26, at Zion United Church of Christ.  It was an emotional time for the choir singing with Norm Engstrom for the last time before he moves to Arizona.  A special thank you to all the members who attended the concert to support our choir; St. John’s was well represented.

Good Bye... Well, one house sold, another purchased and now it is time to make the move.  I want to thank all of my St. John’s family for your prayers, support and suggestions.  A special thank you to the choir for your love and caring.  I can only hope I will find a church home in Tucson that is half as loving as St. John’s.  “God be with you ‘til we meet again”          Norm Engstrom
